Align Your Strategy With Science
I’m guessing that you wish you could be more effective, not less.Â
Every organizational leader I talk to wishes they could be more effective, not less. They want a library of impact stories, deeply satisfied employees, engaged donors, and a strong sense that the future is only getting brighter.
But it’s challenging to measure your impact. I’m certain you’ve made attempts, and I’d speculate that resources, both in terms of money and time, may have been wasted. And this diversion could have distracted you from your real mission.
But too many leaders give up on trying to measure their organization’s impact too soon.
What if I told you there was a simpler way to measure your impact? And, by learning a new way to evaluate the difference you’re making, you also become more effective and see more transformation.
It’s not a false promise; it’s what we do every day. And it’s grounded in science.
Hope Isn't Wishful Thinking or Clever Messaging; it's Science.Â
Hope is important. It can make a big difference in helping you to achieve your goals and live a meaningful life. Hopeful people are happier, more successful, and enjoy their lives.
Research shows that Hope is one of the best predictors of wellbeing. If you want to learn to live your best life, then let’s help you become more hopeful.
Hope is the belief that the future will be better, and you have the power to make it happen. This is different from a wish. With hope, we use our mind AND our strength. Hope is an action word. For example, you might say, “I hope it’s sunny today.” But you don’t have any control over the weather. This would be a wish. But if you say, “I hope to ride my bicycle this evening,” this is hope because you have power over your actions to ride your bicycle. Hope is something you can achieve.

Meet Dr. Evie Trevino
Â
My fascination with the intricacies of human behavior guided me to psychology, but it was my love for people and their potential that rooted me in the field. Initially, the idea of Hope as a predictor of wellbeing was a concept I greeted with caution. In my world as a quantitative psychologist, a domain characterized by numerical analysis and empirical validation, could Hope hold weight? Yet, research spanning over thirty years painted an irrefutable picture: Hope is a science with the robust capability to nurture flourishing lives.
Through my consulting work with a spectrum of organizations nationwide, I’ve translated this science into strategy, equipping teams, schools, and businesses with the tools to foster a culture of Hope—transforming aspirations into achievements.Â

Janee' McCrate, MA, Teacher
"I used the Youth Hope Toolkit in my classroom with over one hundred high school students of varying language and academic levels. The Youth Hope Toolkit offered practical ways to guide students through step-by-step goal planning to reach imagined success. The activities were easily modified to reach students of diverse learning styles and abilities which brought rich engagement, even for reluctant learners. The Youth Hope Toolkit will forever be part of my yearly teaching practice, and I highly encourage teachers to incorporate it into their curriculum as well."

I also loved that your presentation wasn’t filled with big words that made it hard to understand. It was enriching but not overwhelming. It was relatable for Pre-K all the way to 12th grade. Thank you again!”
